Great breakfast food to get you going!

1-cup of oatmeal (wholeoats) 1 -2 scoops of protein powder mixed in.
Add honey if you want it a little sweeter.

Slice up a banana, strawberries, blueberries etc....add to oatmeal
1-slice of whole grain bread (toasted) with some natural peanut butter.

This will give you alot of energy and also give you protein and complex carbs. Tastes great also! And the best thing it's HEALTHY!!!!! Give it a try!

Thanks Donna and welcome! Yes too many people overlook breakfast. Yes it is indeed one of the MOST important meals of the day. Your body has been in a fasting state for hours and your blood sugar is lower so breakfast is the time to start things back up and get them rolling again in a positive manner. Great to hear it's working for you AWESOME! Keep it up. :D

That's right! Breakfast is just that.......BREAKING A FAST! Your body is in need of good nutrients and if you do not feed it, your metabolism will SLOW down, thinking you are not going to feed it. So, therefore storing BF instead of buring!!!
Here's a wonderful recipe I use when I feel like cheating but know I shouldn't. It feels like you are having a HIGH CARB meal but you are not!
PROTEIN PANCAKES:
4 egg whites, 1/2 cup whole oats, tsp vanilla flavoring, and cinnamon.
Add stevia for sweetner. (i try not to use artificial sweetners)
MIX ingredients, Use FF spray on a preheated griddle and cook just like you would an old fashioned pancake! ITS AWESOME! Serve with 1/4 tbsp.....sugar Free syrup!
Here's a TIP: If you want more protien add a scoop of your favorite protein powder into the mix.
