Protein

Hi all!

How come I keep on hearing about protein protein protein for bodybuilding/working out?

I'm 5 feet tall, 170lbs and want to lose a significant amount of weight with clen/cytomel stack. I've been working out consistently and been on a low carb diet lately. Breakfast is one scrambled egg and turkey bacon (or some days I will have oatmeal, but I'm trying to avoid dairy), lunch a salad and tuna, dinner a brothy soup and salad with chicken breast, and i have two or three snacks during the day of either berries or turkey roll ups. I try to keep my calorie count around 1200cal a day.

On my own, I've lost 10lbs in two weeks so far. But if I'm on the stack, is it ok to continue my program? Or do you think I should up my protein intake. And what forms of protein would you recommend? Shakes? Eggs whites? Meat?

Thanks!
