Very good question. When you are done working out your body is straving for the nutrients and food it used during the workout. So you want to replenish then as quickly as possible.
I would suggest a green salad with cut up chicken or turkey. And an olive oil (healthy fats) balsamic or red wine vinegar dressing. And for carbs stay away from simple carbs (white breads, regular pasta etc..) Stick with(complex carbs) like whole grain breads, Oatmeal is a great complex card, whole wheat pasta etc...
If you like oatmeal mix in a scoop of protein powder in it. That way you get the complex carbs and the protein your body is craving.
